Samsung now officially selling refurbished phones in the U.S.

Galaxy S6 edge

Refurb phones have a big market out there, especially with those customers who don’t want to shell out big on a brand new device, but still want the flagship experience. For the companies, these units are basically given a second life, so it’s a win-win situation for everyone involved. #Samsung has now officially started selling certified pre-owned phones through its American online retail site. The company hasn’t listed the Galaxy Note 5, the Galaxy S6 edge+ or the Galaxy S7 duo, but the list includes every other Galaxy flagship dating back to 2013.

For reference, you have the choice between the Galaxy S4, Galaxy S5, Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 edge, Galaxy Note 3 and the Galaxy Note 4. There are big savings to be had here, which is always a given with refurb units. One caveat here is that you will have to pay the full prices for the devices as they’re sold directly by the company.

Strangely, the company is only offering carrier variants of the handsets (Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile and Sprint), so you can’t get it unlocked. Don’t mind these terms? Make sure you check out the company’s device list from the page below.
