Note 4 Incompatible With Snapchat

Problem: So, when I attempt to download snapchat to my galaxy note 4 it tells me that it isn’t compatible with my device. I looked for software updates and found none. I also can’t download panda pop and a lot of apps I’ve tried to download has been unsuccessful.

Related Problem: My Galaxy Note 4 won’t let me download Snapchat. It says it isn’t compatible with the phone but my friend has the same phone and she was able to download Snapchat. Any answers?

Solution: The problem is most likely caused by a glitch in your phone software. I recommend that you backup your phone data then do a factory reset. Once the reset is complete try to check if you are now able to download the app.

If the issue still occurs then you should check what software version your phone is running on. If it is still KitKat then I recommend you get Marshmallow.

You should also check if the phone is able to download the apps when using a different Internet connection to eliminate any network issues.

Finally, try using a different Google account to download the apps to eliminate any account related issues.

Note 4 Unfortunately Phone Stopped Working Error

Problem: Whenever I receive a phone call I see “unfortunately phone stop working” and each time I click OK it reappear constantly and I can’t do anything I gotta take out battery or click select OK and reboot my phone.

Solution: There are two things that you can do for this kind of issue. First, you should try to wipe the cache partition of your phone from the recovery mode. This deletes the temporary system data of your phone that could be causing the problem. If the issue still occurs then I suggest that you backup your phone data then do a factory reset.

Note 4 Can’t Enable Stock Email App

Problem: I have a Galaxy Note 4, running 6.0.1 Build No. N9 10H xxu2DPE2 Some time ago I tried out another email app, but was then receiving emails on both the Note 4 stock app & the new one. To eliminate the ‘competition’ I disabled the stock email app. I now want to get it back but there seems no way to switch it back on again! Perhaps as a result of this I also get a server error. Thank you all for all the time you put in to help us.

Solution: Try going to your phone settings then application manager. From here search for the stock email app then enable it. If you are unable to enable the email app this way then I recommend that you backup your phone data then do a factory reset.

Note 4 Turns Off When Using Snapchat

Problem: When I use snapchat my samsung galaxy note 4 completely turns off and does not turn on until i take out my battery and reinstall it again. It only happens with snapchat not with other apps. Please help me.

Solution: Try to check if a glitch in the app you have installed is causing the problem by uninstalling the app and downloading a fresh version from the Google Play Store.

If the issue occurs even with a freshly installed version then try connecting your phone to its charger then observe if the issue occurs. If it doesn’t then the problem is most likely caused by a weak battery. Snapchat tends to draw more power from the battery and if your battery can’t supply the required power this causes the phone to shut down. I recommend you try using a new battery on your phone to fix this problem.

Note 4 Home Menu Not Showing After Software Update

Problem: Since I updated my Galaxy  from 4.4.2 to 6  my home menu don’t show up for any of my apps  When i press the home button it says could not start home and also volume of my phone is not coming as it is mute after updating my phone  Anyone else having a similar issue and/or know how to fix it?

Solution: It looks like this issue is caused by some old software data that got left behind during the update process. I recommend that you backup your phone data then do a factory reset to resolve this issue.

  1. I have a Note 4 and snapchat always crashes my phone so I upgraded my battery still crashed after so I decided just getting a new SD card and factory reset everything download snapchat and It still crashes my phone I try frwe up my RAM space and just GB still nothing the only thing that will allow me to use snapchat is if I have it plugged into the wall anytime I’m using the app. What should I do upgrade dumb phone just because I want to use snapchat on the go?

  2. Last night while I was on Snapchat it was being sort of laggy and wouldnt play the videos on the my stories feature. So I uninstalled it and went back to reinstall it as I’ve always done when there is a problem. It acted like it was reinstalling until the last few seconds than “Snapchat can’t be installed, try again… ” pops up. And I’ve done everything thing the link told me to do and it still won’t work
