Samsung Galaxy A8 (2016) pops up on a benchmark listing

Samsung Galaxy A8

AnTuTu Benchmarks has just revealed the 2016 model of the #Samsung #GalaxyA8, sporting a pretty attractive specs sheet underneath. Benchmark listings such as this one are usually handy as they give us a very good idea of what to expect from the device well ahead of its launch.

The Galaxy A8 (2016) is expected to come with a 1080p display (size unknown), 3GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage, Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, a 5-megapixel front camera, and an 8-megapixel rear camera.

The Exynos 7420 octa-core chipset is revealed to be running the show here, hinting that this won’t be a high-end offering. Naturally, there’s very little we know about the device and its arrival date at this point. But since it’s already been spotted on a benchmark listing, we expect the Galaxy A8 (2016) to be revealed in the markets fairly soon. Don’t be surprised if the device remains exclusive to the Asian or European markets.
