With #Samsung just managing to get itself back on its feet after the Galaxy Note 7, we’re hearing some exciting rumors with regards to the #GalaxyS8. While some of these rumored specs sound downright ridiculous, we can’t count them out, given how surprising tech companies can be, especially in the mobile industry.
The rumor claims that Samsung’s new flagship will feature a 5.2-inch 4K display, the Snapdragon 830 SoC, 6GB of RAM, 64 or 128GB of internal storage, and a 4,200 mAh battery. The handset is also rumored to be packing retina and fingerprint scanners on board, which is not much of a surprise given that the Galaxy Note 7 also has them on board.
What’s really surprising, however, is the mention of a built-in projector. While this isn’t something that we write off from phones (Moto Z’s projector Moto Mod comes to mind), it’s still a stretch in our books. Further, the phone is expected to be packing a gargantuan 30-megapixel rear camera with OIS while the front will supposedly have a 9-megapixel camera.
That’s quite a lot to take in. Do you think a phone like this could come out of Samsung’s sheds next year? Sound off below.
