Data suggests that people still continue to use the Galaxy Note 7

Galaxy Note 7 Render

Despite countless warnings handed out by the officials and even #Samsung, it seems like some users are still willing to take the risk with the #GalaxyNote7. According to data gathered by Apteligent, the adoption rate of the Galaxy Note 7 briefly dropped when the recall was announced, but it picked up pace shortly after (surprisingly) and fell somewhat after a while.

This paints a very alarming picture to us, especially given rate at which the complaints are pouring in. It will be interesting to see if this is all because of the news about the replacement units making the rounds. However, customers won’t get their replacements until they apply for Samsung’s device exchange program.

Of course, there’s always the possibility that these figures are exaggerated, so let’s just hope that it’s not entirely true. Because at the end of the day, it’s customer safety that counts, especially from a personal device like the smartphone.

What do you think?
