AT&T sending out Advanced Messaging update to the Galaxy S6, S6 edge, S6 edge+ and the Note 5

Galaxy S6

AT&T customers of the #Samsung #GalaxyS6, #GalaxyS6edge, #GalaxyS6edgePlus and the #GalaxyNote5 will start seeing a new update on their devices starting today. This isn’t exactly an OS upgrade, but will introduce a couple of handy features to the fore nonetheless. Among the list of changes will be the inclusion of AT&T’s Advanced Messaging. Barring this, users will only see some under the hood tweaks on the device and some bug fixes.

Although the update doesn’t bring fancy new features to the fore, it’s an important update nonetheless, especially since it brings Advanced Messaging to the fore.  Updates are seeding to the aforementioned devices right away, so you might not have to wait long to see it on your Galaxy S6, S6 edge+ or the Galaxy Note 5. But if you’re having trouble seeing the OTA notification, it might help to manually pull the update from the Settings page on your phones.
