As the day is not far away for the commercial rollout of Android 7.0 Nougat, we are now hearing that Samsung is currently testing the update on the Galaxy S7 and the S7 edge. We still don’t have a timeframe to mark against our calendars, but it’s good to know that the updates are being worked on for the company’s flagship offerings. What this also means is that the two devices will be the first phones from Samsung to get the coveted Nougat update.
It is said that Android 7.0 Nougat with the build number G930FXXU1ZPI9 is being tested internally by Samsung. This is not a lot of info to go with right now, but owners of the company’s newest flagships will be pleased to know that the Galaxy S7 and the S7 edge will be getting the update not too long from now. But when exactly will that be? Well, that’s for Samsung to tell us.
