Apple Music for #Android has been in beta for about 10 months now. That changes today with the company releasing the new version of the app on the Google Play Store, featuring the version number 1.0, marking the official arrival of the full version of the app. The reason why it took Apple quite a while to bring the app out of beta is because the first one was basically a port from the iOS version. This is also why this new version of Apple Music is seeing the inclusion of a custom equalizer feature.
Not much else is different with the app after this update, but the fact that one of Apple’s most significant non-iOS apps is out of the beta testing stage is a headline worthy story. It’s worth noting that Apple Music is still incompatible with Android tablets, which is a trend that doesn’t appear to be changing anytime soon. Have you noticed any new changes with Apple Music?
