Sony brings the Xperia XA and the X Performance to the United States

Xperia X Series

Sony’s most recent handsets, the Xperia XA and the X Performance can now be purchased in the U.S. courtesy of Amazon. The latter is a high-end offering, which explains why it carries a price tag of $699.99. The Xperia XA, however, packs a moderate price tag of $279.99. Both devices are only available from Amazon right now, although we cannot rule out wider availability over the coming days.

The Xperia XA sports a 5-inch 720p display, a 13-megapixel rear camera, a 2.0 GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6755 chipset, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage (expandable), Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow and a 2,300 mAh battery.

The Xperia X Performance is packing a 5-inch 1080p display, the quad-core Snapdragon 820 SoC, 32GB of expandable storage, 3GB of RAM, a 23-megapixel rear camera, a 13-megapixel front camera, a 2,700 mAh battery and Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

To make the deal more attractive to the consumers, Sony will offer a 128GB microSD card with the Xperia X Performance, while customers of the Xperia A will get a 64GB microSD card on board.
