Huawei Honor 5X now getting the Marshmallow update

Huawei Honor 5X Update

The #Huawei #Honor5X is now receiving an update to #Android #Marshmallow, along with the company’s custom EMUI 4.0 skin on top. The Honor 5X is a $200 smartphone that has been available for a few months now and packs a decent set of hardware underneath.

It’s in no way a high-end flagship, so it’s good to see that the company is equally focused on sending the update to budget/mid-ranged devices as well. But with that being said, we must mention that Huawei has received some flak in the past for not updating some of its devices (even after promising its customers).

Well, as for the Honor 5X, the update is rolling out right away, so if you own the handset, the chances are that it has already reached you. If not, make sure you head over to the Settings page to manually check for it. But if you’re one of the lucky ones to have seen the update already, make sure you share your feedback in the comments below.
