Alcatel Idol 4

AT&T owned #CricketWireless will officially bring Alcatel’s Idol 4 to its shelves on August 5. This is a highly attractive device which will sell for a price of $199.99. Since it’s coming from Cricket Wireless, you can expect it to be a prepaid offering.

On the hardware front, the Alcatel Idol 4 comes with a 5.2-inch 1080p display, an octa-core Snapdragon 617 SoC, 2 or 3GB of RAM, 16GB of expandable storage, a 13-megapixel rear camera, an 8-megapixel front camera, Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow and a 2,610 mAh battery.

The company will offer the smartphone with virtual reality goggles, making this a very exciting proposition for interested buyers. We’re guessing the handset will have a bunch of VR related features as well. So if you were looking to get a decent budget offering without breaking the bank much, we are happy to report that the Idol 4 might be what you’re looking for. The handset will be available for purchase online or via Cricket Wireless stores across the country.
