Verizon Galaxy Tab S2 now getting updated to Android 6.0

Galaxy Tab S2

The #Samsung #GalaxyTabS2 on #Verizon is now getting the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update. It seems like Samsung devices are getting the update in a row, with the Galaxy S5 receiving the update not too long ago. Customers of the Galaxy Tab S2 on Verizon will see changes similar to other Marshmallow running devices, but some of these features will be optimized to work with tablets.

This means you can expect to find Doze Mode, Google Now on Tap and granular controls over notifications with this particular update. It comes with the version number MMB29K.T817VVRU2BPE1, so keep a note of that if you’re expecting the update.

The changelog is pretty simple and not much information is provided, so we’re guessing there won’t be any surprises in store. Already seeing the update? Make sure you hit the comments section below to let fellow users know. But if you haven’t, make sure you head over to the Settings page to pull an update manually.
