Unlocked Galaxy S7 and S7 edge now officially available in the U.S.

Galaxy S7 edge

You can now purchase the unlocked models of the #Samsung #GalaxyS7 and the S7 edge in the U.S. Up until now, customers had to get the device through a carrier, but you can finally purchase an unlocked and off-contract Galaxy S7 or the S7 edge from Samsung directly as well as a handful of retailers.

You can get the two devices from Samsung, Amazon, Best Buy, eBay, Sam’s Club and Target. The Galaxy S7 will set you back by $669.99 while the Galaxy S7 Edge has been priced at $769.99. So it’s not going to be easy on your wallets.

However, all things considered, the Galaxy S7 and the S7 edge are pretty decent offerings and come with a wide range of features that make it two of the best flagship offerings available in the market today. With the unlocked models of the handset, customers will have the liberty to pick any carrier they desire. It’s also a major plus if you’re traveling overseas and looking to swap SIM cards. So even though it’s slightly on the expensive side, the Galaxy S7 and the S7 edge appear to be pretty decent offerings for the price.
