According to reports emerging out of China, Samsung’s early 2017 flagship, the #GalaxyS8 will supposedly feature a dual-lens camera on board. It is further said that the handset will also have a 4K UHD display on board, which is expected to become a standard feature among flagships by 2017.
Talk about Samsung using a 4K display with a flagship is not new as the Korean manufacturer looks to switch focus onto virtual reality. Using a pixel-dense display would significantly enhance virtual reality experience for the customers as it involves looking fairly closely at the display for prolonged intervals.
Elaborating more on the dual-lens camera setup, it is said that this particular module will be developed in-house with SEMCO. It’s not known as to what this feature would accomplish, but we’re hopeful about its success given that Samsung has produced some of the best camera phones in recent memory.
Do you like the idea of a dual-lens camera and a 4K UHD display on the Galaxy S8?
