Lenovo’s Project Tango smartphone leaks out ahead of tomorrow’s release

#Lenovo is expected to unveil a handful of new devices tomorrow (June 9). Among the many devices planned is the Project Tango based PHAB2 Pro, which is expected to be the first Tango phone on the market. Just as we’re counting down for the event now, a new leak has revealed the handset in all its glory. We’re seeing the device in a press render as well as a live shot, which focuses on the array of sensors on the back.

The press rendering reveals a pretty normal looking device, but with a strange arrangement of Android navigation keys at the bottom (possibly capacitive). The back appears to have two separate cameras accompanied by a dual-LED flash and the fingerprint scanner, so there’s plenty going on with the device.

The live image gives us a closer look of these rear cameras as well as a metal unibody design. Overall, the PHAB2 Pro¬†looks like a premium offering and we wouldn’t be surprised if this won’t be easy on the wallets. Expect more information to be available by tomorrow as the PHAB 2 Pro and some other Moto offerings are unveiled tomorrow.
