Verizon Galaxy S6 and S6 edge now getting a bug fixing patch

Galaxy S6

Customers of the #Verizon branded #GalaxyS6 and the S6 edge should now be able to see a new bug patching update on their smartphones, which fixes the well known Google Play bug on the two smartphones and also introduces a handful of other (minor) features. The update will come with software versions MMB29K.G920VVRU4CPD2 and MMB29K. G925VVRU4CPD2 for the two devices respectively.

There’s no mention of what else is new with this particular update, but we don’t think there will be any major changes on board. However, if you have already received the update and have access to a proper changelog, make sure you let us know by hitting the comments section below.

Alternatively, if you haven’t received the update on your smartphone as of yet, make sure you remain patient as an update should be on its way as we speak. It’s good to see that a carrier that is not known for its promptness in sending out updates actually manages to fix a pertinent bug such as this one.
