Unlocked HTC 10 models getting a big update

HTC 10

The unlocked model of the #HTC10 is now receiving an update with some crucial fixes/patches on board. While there are no big features being introduced with the update, the changelog mentions that it will bring fixes for Wi-Fi as well as the camera.

We say it’s a big update because it’s about 394.53MB in size, which is not a conventional bug fixing update. However, the changelog simply mentions “Camera performance enhancement” and “WiFi stability enhancement” in addition to “System stability improvement“, so we’re guessing there won’t be a lot of new features on board.

But since there’s mention of the camera, we’re willing to wager that the performance will be significantly improved with this update, so it might not just be limited to patching existing bugs. The update is only for the unlocked HTC 10 models, so it might take a bit longer to reach carrier variants of the handset.

Do you own an unlocked HTC 10? What do you make of this update? Sound off below.
