Samsung Galaxy Note 6 ‘Lite’ could be launching with Snapdragon 820

Galaxy Note 6

According to a new report, #Samsung could be prepping the launch of a different #GalaxyNote6 variant known simply as the Galaxy Note 6 ‘Lite’. Bear in mind, however that the device is Lite only in name. If this rumor is to be believed, the handset will be launched with a Snapdragon 820 SoC underneath, which should make it a highly capable offering.

Further, it is believed that the handset will be packing 4GB of RAM, which again is a flagship feature. Perhaps the only believable hardware here is the 5.8-inch 1080p display. So it seems like the company will go with a slightly dated display and stick with high-end internal hardware. This is an interesting choice though, as most devices with the Lite moniker tend to go with something like a Snapdragon 650 or similar.

We suggest you to strictly treat this as a rumor for the time being as we’ve not received confirmation from Samsung as of yet. What do you make of the Galaxy Note 6 Lite? Sound off below.
