T-Mobile has freshly announced the arrival of the #Kyocera DuraForce XD through its retail channels. The smartphone is yet another rugged smartphone by Kyocera and will be available for purchase from T-Mobile starting May 11.
As you can imagine, the handset is pretty well equipped in terms of internal hardware. It’s no slouch as far as durability is concerned, which is perhaps the DuraForce XD’s key highlight. The smartphone is OSHA certified as well, which makes it eligible to be used in hazardous workspaces.
The handset will be available for $449.99, which is pretty steep for a mid-ranger, but since the DuraForce XD has several other attributes on board, the pricing seems justified. The handset can also be bought for $0 down and under 24 monthly installments of $18.75 each.
As for the hardware, the DuraForce XD packs a 5.7-inch 720p display, a 1.6 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 chipset, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage (expandable), an 8-megapixel camera on the back, a 2-megapixel front camera, Android Lollipop, 4G LTE and a 3,700 mAh battery. The smartphone is IP68 certified as well, which makes it a pretty sturdy handset.
