Moto G4 and G4 Plus now official with 5.5-inch 1080p displays and octa-core CPUs

#Lenovo and #Moto have officially taken the wraps off the #MotoG4 and the G4 Plus in India today. The company revealed that only the ‘Plus’ variant would have a fingerprint sensor, while the standard G4 model will stick to regular lock/unlock methods.

Jumping right into the hardware side of things, the Moto G4 and the G4 Plus both feature, 5.5-inch Full HD displays, the octa-core Snapdragon 617 SoC and 3,000 mAh battery units underneath with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.

The Moto G4 Plus comes with a 16-megapixel f/2.0 camera on the back, while the Moto G4 settles for a 13-megapixel f/2.0 sensor. Both handsets have 5-megapixel front facing cameras. The Moto G4 comes in 16 and 32GB storage configurations, both with 2GB of RAM. The G4 Plus, on the other hand, is available in 16/32/64GB storage variants with 2, 3 and 4GB RAM options.

Now for the all important question about the prices.¬†Well, while the company has shared details on the Indian pricing, we’re yet to gather info on global pricing. But we can be assured that Moto/Lenovo will have more information on that front in the days to come. The two handsets will be available globally in the¬†coming weeks.
