ASUS ZenFone 2 Laser receiving the Marshmallow update

ZenFone 2 Laser

The #ASUS #ZenFone2Laser is now getting an update to Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The update brings a significant overhaul to the UI side of things and also comes with a couple of new apps and removes a whole lot of other junk apps that were otherwise deemed unnecessary by the customers. Among the newly included apps are Google Calendar, Google Messenger, and Dr. Booster.

The update comes with the software version WW_13.10.6.16_M3.6.44 and is rolling out right away. So make sure you keep an eye on the status bar for a notification update.

As is standard protocol, ASUS suggests that users remain on a Wi-Fi network and have at least 50% of battery before the installation of this update. It is also suggested that users move all their important apps to the internal storage since Marshmallow doesn’t support SD card apps.

If you own a ZenFone 2 Laser and have already received the update, make sure you let us know.
