Sprint Galaxy Note Edge and Galaxy S5 Sport getting Marshmallow

Galaxy S5 Sport

#Sprint is now sending out the #Android 6.0 #Marshmallow update for the #Samsung #GalaxyNoteEdge as well as the #GalaxyS5Sport, both devices from 2014. The update will bring in a multitude of changes to the two devices, especially since both devices were originally launched with Android 4.4.2 KitKat.

The update should be hitting devices right away, but be sure to check the Settings page if it hasn’t arrived on your Galaxy Note Edge or the Galaxy S5 Sport already. With Marshmallow, customers of the two devices should see changes similar to the Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy Note 5, so there’s plenty to be excited about. Users can also expect to see Google specific changes on board, which should enhance user experience to a great extent.

The Galaxy Note Edge is getting the update carrying the software version N915PVPU4DPD, while the Galaxy S5 Sport is seeing G860PVPU2CPD1.
