Sprint brings LTE Plus to New York City

#Sprint has just announced the arrival of LTE Plus in New York City, which will offer increased data speeds on eligible devices. The carrier has mentioned that it has doubled the speeds and capacity of over 900 cell sites in the surrounding areas, which bodes well for customers of the network.

While Sprint is currently in the last place among top carriers, it goes without saying that the company is trying hard to gain back some of its customers. This is evident from the promotions it’s currently running. This includes offering $650 to customers who are switching from another network.

Sprint’s LTE Plus networks are already available in 190 markets of the U.S., so New York City joins a long list of cities. The carrier has also talked about enhancing network infrastructure overall to offer better data speeds to customers of the network. Are you getting Sprint LTE Plus speeds in your region? Let us know.
