No high-res headphones with the HTC 10 in the U.S. or Canada

HTC 10 - Headphones

We recently reported that only the unlocked versions of the #HTC10 will come with their new high-performance headphones. Well, a new report is stating that the company will not supply these headphones in the U.S. or Canada, even if you get it unlocked.

It seems like the company wants to keep these headphones limited to some European and Asian countries while American customers will have to settle for standard headsets. That’s not really much of an issue given that users will still get to experience the best of HTC. But it would be a little disappointing for customers in the U.S. to know that HTC is leaving out North America, which is considered to be a prime market.

Barring this, the HTC 10 is still a pretty capable handset and comes with a 5.2-inch Quad HD display, a Snapdragon 820 SoC, 4GB of RAM, 32GB of storage and Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.

The HTC 10 will be available for purchase in May with pre-orders expected to go live soon. What do you make of this new revelation?
