The #MotoG4 and the G4 Plus have leaked out plenty of times before. According to a new report, the handsets could be revealed on the 17th of May at a dedicated Moto event. It is said that the company has sent out event invites in India for this particular date, so it seems like the handset could be released in the Asian markets first.
The Moto G4 and the Moto G4 Plus are expected to have very similar hardware underneath, with the G4 Plus being a slightly upgraded model. Leaks have revealed that the new G4 lineup will have a fingerprint scanner. There’s no concrete word on what else is different between the two devices, but we expect to get a clearer picture in the days to come.
It has been rumored so far that the G4 will have a 13-megapixel rear camera, while the G4 Plus will supposedly have a 16-megapixel rear camera. Both handsets should be packing a 5.5-inch display, perhaps with a 1080p resolution.
