It’s no secret that #HTC has been struggling to make a mark on the mobile industry for the past few years now. The fact that there were disastrous phones like the #OneM7 and the #OneM9 added salt to the company’s wounds. It seems like things have continued to go downhill, especially in Q1 2016.
HTC’s investors page has revealed that the company saw its revenues decrease by 64.31% in Q1 2016 compared to Q1 2015. This is telling a lot as the Taiwanese manufacturer didn’t exactly have the most lucrative first quarter in 2015 either.
This was followed up by a couple of bad quarters owing to the One M9. HTC made a deecent comeback in Q4 with the One A9 smartphone. However, sales haven’t really been consistent, which is quite evident from the company’s revenues from the recently concluded financial quarter.
It is important to note that HTC is expected to be launching a new flagship handset soon, so perhaps things could be different in the second quarter. But we’re not counting on it.
