HTC working on M1 and S1 Nexus devices: Rumor

HTC Services App

Rumors have for long suggested that #HTC will launch a #Nexus smartphone this year. A new report is mentioning that these devices will be known as the M1 and the S1, codenamed Marlin and Sailfish. It’s not known if both are smartphones, as one of them could just as likely be a tablet.

Although Google will probably release two Nexus phones this year to replace the Nexus 5X and the Nexus 6P respectively, we don’t think it would come from the same manufacturer.

The source hasn’t given away any further details apart from the name, but knowing the nature of leaks today, we expect to hear more about the devices soon. Google has historically named its Nexus devices based on aquatic animals, so the names Marlin and Sailfish makes sense as well. What do you make the of the HTC M1 and the S1? Sound off below.
