HTC could release the mid-ranged Desire A56 with the HTC 10

HTC Services App

The #HTC10 smartphone will supposedly be revealed by the company on the 12th of April as we all know by now. A revelation is now suggesting that the Taiwanese manufacturer might have more than just the flagship offering on show. It is being said that the company will release another handset during the event, calling it the Desire A56. There’s not much known about the device itself, but a move like this makes complete sense as HTC is currently focused on the mid-range market.

The revelation was made by reliable HTC source LlabTooFeR via Twitter. He failed to mention the specifications of the handset, but it doesn’t take much to guess that this will probably be a mid-ranged offering. However, he has mentioned that the handset will be available in both single SIM and dual SIM variants, suggesting that this will be targeted towards the Asian and European markets, where the Desire handsets enjoy decent popularity. Don’t rule out a Stateside release either at this point.
