Global variant of the Galaxy Note 4 now getting Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow

Galaxy Note 4#Samsung has now officially begun the rollout of Android 6.0.1 #Marshmallow for the global version of the #GalaxyNote4 phablet. This late-2014 Samsung flagship has been waiting for quite some time now and it’s good to know that Samsung has finally flipped the switch. This makes us hopeful that the carrier variants of the device are not far away from getting the update.

It’s important to note that Sprint recently sent out the Android 6.0.1 update for the smartphone, so other carriers should be following suit in the days to come. As for this particular update, it comes with all the bells and whistles that we saw from Samsung’s other updates, so one can expect some new emojis on board, some tweaks made to the general user interface and a few S Pen related tricks (although not many).

The Galaxy Note 4 is a very important device for Samsung and enjoys a decent market share across the world. So it’s good to see that the update is live even though Samsung has made its users wait for a long time.
