Cricket Wireless takes aim at T-Mobile, offers $100 to customers who switch

Cricket Wireless

In order to compete with T-Mobile’s highly popular consumer-friendly plans. AT&T owned Cricket Wireless has announced a new fully unlimited plan which hopes to steal away some customers from the Magenta carrier. Further, the prepaid carrier is also offering a $100 rebate to those who switch from T-Mobile, making the deal even sweeter.

Now for the $70 fully unlimited plan. Well, there are no hidden caveats here. Customers will essentially get unlimited voice minutes, texts and data (capped at 8 Mbps) for a month at this price. That’s pretty much it.

Now we realize that 8 Mbps is not incredibly fast, but considering that it’s unlimited, we really don’t think it should be an issue. Another thing to note here is that since Cricket Wireless runs on AT&T’s networks, you will be able to find widespread coverage across the U.S., even in areas where T-Mobile is non-existent.

If you happen to be a T-Mobile customer and want to make the switch to prepaid, this is the way to do it. Interested? Head over to the carrier’s page for more details.
