Benchmark listing reveals Samsung Galaxy C7 with 4GB of RAM

Samsung Galaxy C7

A new mid-ranger called the #Samsung #GalaxyC7 has made an appearance on a benchmark listing, revealing its hardware credentials in the process. The smartphone is shown to be packing an octa-core Snapdragon 652 SoC, 4GB of RAM as well as Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.

This suggests that the Galaxy C7 could be a close-to-launch handset that is currently undergoing testing at Samsung’s research labs. We’re still in the dark about what this device brings to the table, but it’s clear that the device is pretty powerful, in terms of internal hardware anyway.

There’s no word on the display size or the resolution at the moment, but we are willing to wager that it would be somewhere around the 5 to 5.5-inch area. The resolution should be 1080p given that this is running an octa-core CPU with 4GB of RAM under the hood. Since this is a benchmark listing, there’s no word on when the handset will be revealed by the company. But we’re hoping Samsung doesn’t wait too long to unveil the device.
