Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note 5 getting Android 6.0.1

Galaxy Note 5

The #Samsung #GalaxyNote5 on #Verizon has now received the Android 6.0.1 update, bringing joy to the users on Big Red. Samsung decided to send out the update to the Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 edge first, followed by the likes of the Galaxy S6 edge+ and now the Galaxy Note 5. It is important to note that global rollout began some time ago, but as we know, carrier variants have taken longer than usual to receive the update.

Most Verizon users should have receive the update by now, but if you haven’t seen it on your Galaxy Note 5 yet, stay assured that it’s already on its way. The update will supposedly bring support for  Google Now on Tap, Doze, WiFi Calling, and improvement made to live broadcast. Users will be pleased to know that the update will bring UI elements similar to what we saw with the Galaxy S7 and the Galaxy S7 edge.

Have you received the update yet? Make sure you let us know by dropping a line below.
