Verizon releases the LG K4 for $5 per month

Verizon LG K4

The #Verizon #LGK4 smartphone is now available for purchase from the carrier at $5 per month (24 months). That roughly translates to a full retail price of $120, making this an exciting prospect in the budget segment. The handset also supports 4G LTE, although we don’t have enough clarification on this front from LG or Verizon right now.

The LG K4 comes with a 4.5-inch 480 x 854 resolution IPS display, a quad-core 1.1 GHz Snapdragon 210 SoC, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage (expandable), a 5-megapixel rear camera, a 2-megapixel front camera, Android 5.1.1 Lollipop and a 1,940 mAh battery. As you can see, the handset won’t break any benchmarking records, but is an exciting handset nevertheless, especially considering the price.

A handset such as this one would have made more sense for Verizon’s prepaid plans, but the company thinks it can appeal to the existing and new postpaid customers as well. Are you interested in getting the LG K4? Head over to the carrier’s site below to make the purchase.
