Sprint sending out Android 6.0 for the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+

Galaxy S6 edge+

After sending out the Android 6.0 update for the #GalaxyNote5 earlier today, Sprint has also sent out the update to the Galaxy S6 edge+. The update will come with the same features as the Galaxy Note 5, sans the S Pen related features. The update should have already reached your device, but if it hasn’t, make sure you manually head over to the Settings page to check it manually.

It is being said that the update has significantly improved fingerprint recognition on the device. There’s no proper changelog available as of yet, but users can expect an all new user interface along with some performance enhancements for smooth usage.

Samsung has been a little late to the Android 6.0 party, but in this case, it’s only the carriers to blame as the update was originally sent out a month or so ago. In any case, it’s good to see that Sprint has finally woken up and started the rollout of the update to two of Samsung’s crucial flagships from 2015.
