Samsung sending out minor updates for the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge

Galaxy S7

The #Verizon branded #Samsung #GalaxyS7 and the #GalaxyS7edge are now receiving minor updates carrying fixes for the WiFi bug. The update doesn’t have any other changes on board, but it’s good to know as the customer of either device that Verizon and Samsung have your back as far as patching pertinent issues are concerned.

The software version changes to MMB29M.G930VVRU2APB5 on the Galaxy S7 and MMB29M.G935VVRU2APB5 on the Galaxy S7 edge post the update. The devices remain on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, so nothing has changed in that regard. You can expect to see the patches for the following bugs mentioned below:

  • Trouble connecting to the internet

  • Frequent data disconnections

  • Problems while loading files or web pages

It might take a while to see the update on your Galaxy S7 or the Galaxy S7 edge, which is understandable considering that the company has only announced the update a few hours ago. However, if you’re already seeing this particular update on your smartphone, don’t hesitate to let us know by dropping a comment below.
