Samsung inadvertently confirms the existence of the Galaxy S7 Active

Galaxy S7 Active

When #Samsung released the #GalaxyS5Active a couple of years ago, most of us were surprised. Simply because we thought a device like this would make the standard Galaxy S5 redundant. This is because most of the features of the Galaxy S5 such as water/dust resistance, the display, processor etc were shared. Well, it seems like Samsung is doing something similar this year as the company has (inadvertently) revealed the presence of the Galaxy S7 Active (codenamed Poseidon).

Much like the years before, this one too will probably be exclusive with AT&T in the U.S. So how would the Galaxy S7 Active differentiate itself from the standard Galaxy S7? Well, we might get to see a more rugged exterior, in favor of the all-glass design that we see on the S7 and the S7 edge. Barring this, we should also see rubberized buttons on the handset.

Samsung hasn’t officially confirmed the arrival of the device yet, but that should happen imminently, given that the handset has already been revealed by the company’s Samsung Level app, which mentions the Galaxy S7 Active as a compatible device with the Level headphones.
