OnePlus Gallery app hits the Google Play Store

OnePlus Gallery

#OnePlus rejigged the entire user interface with the #OnePlus2 smartphone and Android 5.0 Lollipop. This included bringing some of its apps as individual offerings on the #PlayStore. This is something that manufacturers like #HTC, #Motorola and several others are currently doing with their core apps. OnePlus has now released its own core app on the Play Store, simply named OnePlus Gallery.

Making an app available on the Play Store allows the company to issue timely updates to the app when and if needed. In the past, manufacturers had to wait until full blown system updates to send out essential patches to the app. But this allows the companies to iron out any minor issues when required within a day or two’s notice.

The app is only compatible with the OnePlus 2 for now, although the company has promised to add support for its other devices subsequently. If you’ve accidentally removed the OnePlus Gallery app on your OnePlus 2, you can grab it by hitting the Play Store link below.
