The #Samsung #GalaxyJ1 (2016) is headed towards AT&T, according to a new image shared by Evan Blass, also known as @evleaks. Since this is coming from a reliable source, we have no reason to doubt these claims. It’s possible that the Galaxy J1 will be an AT&T GoPhone offering since it’s a budget device. Although it’s just as likely to end up on AT&T Next.
The smartphone packs a 4.5-inch 480 x 800 Super AMOLED display, a 1.3 GHz quad-core Exynos 3475 chipset, a 5-megapixel rear camera, a 2-megapixel front camera, 8GB of internal storage (expandable), 1GB of RAM, Android 5.1 Lollipop and a 2,050 mAh battery underneath.
The handset was only released in January this year, so it’s still relatively new in the mobile industry. This would make an excellent addition to AT&T’s roster with the right pricing attached to it. The handset comes with 4G LTE connectivity as well, which should make this stand apart among budget offerings from rival manufacturers like LG, HTC etc.
