Verizon officially launches the Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0

Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0

The #Samsung #GalaxyTabE8.0 is now available for purchase from #Verizon as a budget offering. This mid-sized tablet was released by Samsung last week and it’s good to see that Verizon has already geared up to offer the tablet. You can get the tablet with a 2-year Verizon contract by shelling out $149.99. Getting it outright will set you back by $249.99 or $10.41/ month for a period of two years.

Verizon is making no secret of the fact that the tablet is meant for families9 with features like multi-user mode, allowing more than one user to access the tablet. This feature has been present on most Android tablets for quite some time now since Google enabled support for it within stock Android a couple of years ago.

As for the tablet itself, the Galaxy Tab E 8.0 comes with an 8 inch 1280 x 800 resolution display, a 5-megapixel rear camera, a 2-megapixel front camera, a 1.3 GHz quad core processor, Android 5.1 Lollipop and a 5,000 mAh battery. Clearly, it’s not the most powerful tablet out there, but that’s not really a surprise given the pricing.
