Samsung Galaxy S7 battery could last two days on a single charge

Samsung Galaxy S7

According to a new revelation, the #Samsung #GalaxyS7 flagship that is scheduled for an unveiling soon could last more than two days on a single charge. This indicates that the Korean manufacturer might be using a large battery pack underneath or simply have better software optimization on board to offer improved battery backup.

The information comes from a screenshot allegedly taken from a prototype unit, which could easily have been doctored, so we’re taking this with a pinch of salt for the time being. According to the screenshot, the device used here is the dual SIM variant of the handset. The device was apparently used at 75% display brightness and with LTE on at all times, so we can safely say that it ran two days with standard usage.

We have already heard plenty about the Galaxy S7 on the public domain, so encountering a news report like this shouldn’t come across as surprising. For now, it seems like this could be the best that we’ll see this year, although the likes of HTC and LG are also expected to show off their offerings very soon.

Would the battery life alone be an important metric for you to take a liking towards the Galaxy S7?
