Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge certified by the FCC

Samsung Galaxy S7

With the #Samsung #GalaxyS7 and S7 edge scheduled for a Feb. 21 release, we were bound to come across a bunch of leaks. However, what we’re coming across now is not just a leak but a full blown confirmation of its arrival, thanks to the FCC.

The American device certification database has now certified the two devices, thus confirming once and for all that the handsets will be launching in the global markets very soon. The listing here comes with support for AT&T’s bands, SM-G930A and SM-G935A. There isn’t much to go with as far as the hardware is concerned, but all that has been cleared up by the leaks already, so we’re not particularly curious at this point.

The two Samsung flagships should be revealed by the 21st of February, which means there’s not much longer to wait before the big unveiling. From what we can tell, the two handsets will have a largely unchanged design, but with some crucial internal hardware related changes on board.
