Note 4 Black Screen Issues
Problem: My phones was working fine yesterday but now the screen is black, the lights on the bottom of the screen turn on, as well as the green light at the top of the corner of the phone.
Solution: Have you checked if your phone is still getting notifications from calls or text messages? If it still is then the problem could be with the display itself.
You should however check first if this is caused by a software problem by taking out the phone battery. Press and hold the power button for at least a minute. This will discharge the phone circuit and clear out its RAM.
Reinsert the battery then turn on your phone. If the display is still black then start your phone in recovery mode. If you can’t access the recovery mode then chances are the problem is hardware related possibly caused by a defective display. If this is the case I suggest you bring your phone to an authorized service center.
If you can access the recovery mode then I recommend you do a factory reset. Take note that you will lose your phone data when you do this so proceed at your own risk.
If the issue still occurs then bring your phone to an authorized service center and have it checked.
Note 4 Pen Not Working
Problem: My Pen suddenly stop to work with touch screen while the touchscreen itself still work with my fingers so, by changing the pen with new one from same model of Galaxy Note 4; the problem is still existed so; how to fix this problem. Thanks
Solution: It seems that the digitizer of the phone that is responsible for the S Pen to work is not working properly. To troubleshoot this issue try to backup your phone data first then do a factory reset. After the reset do not install anything in your phone, instead check first if the pen now works. If it doesn’t work then you need to bring your phone to an authorized service center and have it checked. There’s a possibility that the digitizer may need to be replaced.
Note 4 Black And Green Lines In Display
Problem: Hey, My s4 freaked out this morning and is now busted. I turned on the screen and everything was fine and then all of a sudden the screen sent black and green lines started to form which eventually filled the entire screen and then went white. At this point the phone becomes unresponsive. I’ve taken out the battery and restarted it and tried the soft reboot but nothing but lines show up on the screen. I’ve have some pics that i could send you if you wanted to see it.
Solution: Try starting your phone in recovery mode. If the issue is still the same even in recovery mode then this is already a hardware related problem. I suggest you bring the phone to an authorized service center and have it checked. If you can access the recovery mode without any problems then I highly recommend you proceed with a factory reset. Take note that this will delete your phone data so proceed at the risk of losing your data.
Note 4 Goes Black When Posting Facebook Photos
Problem: When posting a pic on fb my phone goes black and won’t post it. Shuts down app. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalLing the app. It still does it. I have cleared the cache and it let’s me post but I shouldn’t have to clear the cache every time I wanna post a pic
Solution: The way I see it the best way to solve this problem is to backup your phone data then do a factory reset. This will deal with any corrupt data or software glitch that could be causing this problems.
