LG G5 wins big at the MWC 2016 awards

The #LGG5 bagged the Best Mobile Handsets & Devices Award at the MWC 2016, which is the top honor that a device can receive at the annual mobile centric event. This comes as no surprise to us, given the kind of hardware that the LG G5 packs on board.

The smartphone features a brilliant modular design that allows users to add accessories like a camera mount and a DAC audio component. This also means that the G5 features a removable battery, something that’s become a desired feature for many. The smartphone will be available on pre-order starting March 18, so you can have it in your hands in the U.S. within the coming weeks.

The initial response to our new LG G5 has been phenomenal and rewards the effort our experts have made to create something genuinely innovative and unique in the smartphone space,” said Juno Cho, president and CEO of LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company. “The G5 and its Friends modules are aimed at giving consumers a more playful smartphone experience and these awards suggest that we have offered something truly different in the market.”
