LG G4 on T-Mobile already getting Android 6.0 update

While the #LGG4 is seeing #Android 6.0 #Marshmallow in global markets, the update hasn’t quite arrived on the T-Mobile variant in the U.S. A new report is now suggesting that the company might have already started sending out the update, with some users apparently seeing the update through the LG Bridge software, which is a desktop app for phone-to-PC connectivity.

The update comes with the build H81120I and has frankly taken some of us by surprise as it was supposed to be in “manufacturer development” stage not too long ago. So is this an error from T-Mobile or has the carrier simply expedited the update rollout? It’s tough to tell at the moment, but it seems like the users on the network won’t have to wait long to experience the goodness of Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

Do you own a T-Mobile branded LG G4? Are you seeing the update on your smartphone already? Sound off in the comments section below.
