Today, Verizon has updated their “Advanced Devices Software Updates” list on their support website stating that the LG G4, LG G3, and HTC One M9 will be getting updated tomorrow. While the support pages for the individual devices aren’t updated, it’s very likely that the update could be Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
When Mo Versi, HTC’s VP of Product Management, stated that last week the HTC One M9 was going to get updated on T-Mobile on the 16th, he also later stated that the update would be coming to Verizon users on the same date.
Another approval received! Verizon HTC One (M9) w/Marshmallow is approved! OTA to start on 2/16 Kudos to @arpu31 for pushing this through!!

While LG is a different company entirely from HTC, the timing of the update seems to be in line with the HTC One M9, as the Verizon-specific LG G4 is the last model of the G4 in the US that hasn’t gotten updated to Marshmallow yet.
While the LG G3’s update could just be a regular security update, some Verizon users received the update back in January, so it’s likely Verizon could start to push it to all users tomorrow as well.
So if you have any of those three devices, keep an eye out to see if they do get Android Marshmallow tomorrow. Rest assured, we’ll post that the update is out if they release it. Are you excited for the possibility of Marshmallow?
