AT&T LG G4 getting Android 6.0 Marshmallow today

#LG was one of the first to the #Android 6.0 #Marshmallow party, right after #HTC. Well, the Korean manufacturer is now sending out the Marshmallow update to the AT&T model of the #LGG4. It must be noted that the G4 was scheduled to receive the Marshmallow update some time ago, but it seems like the carrier was holding back its release until now, which is standard industry practice.

As for the change log, the device should see the introduction of a slightly revamped user interface, a bunch of internal additions to the software and an overall smoother performance. The update is a hefty 971MB in size, so it is recommended that users only download the update over an unlimited WiFi connection to avoid data overages. You will see the software version change to H81020n post the update.

The T-Mobile model of the G4 has already received Marshmallow, while Sprint and Verizon Wireless models are yet to get it. Have you seen the Android 6.0 update on your AT&T LG G4 yet? Sound off in the comments section below.
