AT&T and Verizon now taking pre-orders of the Gear S2 Classic with 3G

Samsung Gear S2 - Rose Gold

#Samsung announced not too long ago that the 3G version of the #GearS2Classic would release in the U.S. by March 11. Well, right on cue, AT&T and #VerizonWireless have started taking pre-orders of this cellular connected wearable.

The AT&T model will set you back by $350 full-retail or $17.50 per month for 20 months. Verizon is offering the wearable for $350 with a two year contract while you will have to shell out $50 more to get it off contract. So in terms of pricing, AT&T appears to have the upper hand here.

AT&T customers will be able to use NumberSync on the Gear S2 Classic with 3G, just like on the LG Watch Urbane 2. This feature essentially allows you to sync one number across all devices without requiring an additional SIM card. As far as the feature-set is concerned, this is the same Gear S2 Classic that you would otherwise manage to purchase elsewhere, but just with the added benefit of having 3G connectivity on board.
