Sony releases new range of 4K toting Android TVs

Sony 4K TV

#Sony has just taken the wraps off three new 4K TV models, known as the XBR-X850D (55, 65, 75 and 85 inches), the XBR-X930D (55 and 65 inches) as well as the XBR-X940D which comes with a massive 75 inch display panel. Now this would be just another 4K TV launch at CES 2016 if not for the fact that these TVs support #AndroidTV out of the box.

This also allows Sony to have home automation control using the Logitech Harmony Hub. The customers will naturally have access to a slew of Google content such as apps and games and also get access to TV series and movies from Google Play, Amazon Video, YouTube, Netflix as well as Hulu. So one would say that you’re well covered as far as content is concerned with either one of these TVs.

Sony has been mum about the pricing of these Android TVs for now, but we should get more information on them in due time. But we don’t expect any of these televisions to go easier on your wallets, so prepare to shell out big if you want one of these in your living rooms.
