Samsung Gear S2 gets its own QWERTY keyboard

Gear S2

The #Samsung #GearS2 is one of the most unique smartwatches available in the market today. The wearable has just gotten better thanks to a new app which brings a full sized QWERTY keyboard to the device. Known as Agile Keyboard, this brings a proper keyboard to your smartwatch.

This however is a paid app and will set you back by $0.99, which is quite disappointing, but not a surprise considering that it’s coming from a third party developer. The Gear S2 allows you to easily swap keyboards from the Settings, so if there’s something better you find, you can change it quite easily.

Another interesting app that’s being worked on is Message Center for the Gear S2. This will let you open active chats and respond to them accordingly, something that’s not possible with Android Wear. This feature is currently said to be supporting IM apps like WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, Google Hangout, Line, KakaoTalk, Skype, Viber etc with many more to come in the future. Check out the video below to understand how it works.

Samsung’s Tizen platform has seen slow adoption from the devs, but it seems like new developers are finally looking to build apps for the platform.
