The #Samsung #GalaxyS7 is expected to be revealed sometime next month, with February 20 being the likeliest release date. And as is customary with devices of this stature, we’re coming across a handful of leaks just before the launch of the device. We’re now seeing the handset leaking out in a new image, with the display giving us a glimpse of the specifications of the device as well.
We’re seeing a 5.71 inch display panel here with a resolution of 2560 x 1440, which translates to Quad HD or 2K. This makes us believe that Samsung could be launching a large sized Galaxy S7 alongside a more pocket friendly 5.1 or 5.2 inch model. Another interesting revelation made by this leak is the size of the camera, which is said to be just 12-megapixels, which would (on paper) be a downgrade compared to the Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 edge.
However, we’re sure that Samsung would have some optimized hardware and software features to make sure the sensor performs significantly better than the previous gen models. The leak also tells us that the smartphone will come with 4GB of RAM on board, which is set to become an industry standard this year.
